The young and old when gaming may at times wonder what it could be like to be that game's main character.
Nintendo and Mario go way back. The reality is, everyone's favorite plumber has a long tradition of defining whatever console he along with his "special" mushrooms grace. It all began way back with Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), but held true for Nintendo's subsequent console creations as well -- Super Mario World for Super NES, Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64, Super Mario Sunshine for GameCube and Super Mario Galaxy for Wii. Keep in mind the video games of old where Super Mario Bros. got its beginning for the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). It was quickly followed by Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. Mario is super in Nintendo's entire console history and will continue with the Wii U.
